Over 4,400 social service agencies and school nurses in 43 states partner with New Eyes to provide eyeglasses to needy Americans. This partnership is essential to the success of our program. Social service agencies provide outreach so that indigent Americans can learn about New Eyes' program to purchase new eyeglasses. Social service agencies, which have on-going client relationships, also help New Eyes ensure that only those most in need receive our assistance.
In addition, New Eyes has a special relationship with the following social service agencies:
- Clients in Kentucky receive their vouchers through Kentucky Homeplace, a program that links medically underserved rural residents with free or low-cost health services.
- New Eyes and the Kress Vision Program work ztogether to provide free eye exams and eyeglasses to disadvantaged children in New York City.
