New Eyes for the Needy does not pay for eye exams. However, applicants must have had a recent eye exam to apply for assistance.

New York City underprivileged residents may contact the Kress Vision Program at 212-233-8483 to learn about free exams offered at the New York University Downtown Hospital and other sites throughout the city.
